My name is Mark Jefferies and I am 60 years old. In 1972, I was a 12 year old kid on a skiiing trip to Einsideln in Switzerland with teachers and pupils from Merrywood Boys' Grammar School. I really liked my teacher, Mr Ian Elvin, and enjoyed chatting with him. As we took our places at table in the hotel, I got to sit on the teachers's table. Next to me was Mrs Elvin. She was a beautiful woman, kind and thoughtful to a kid on his first trip abroad. After all these years I have never forgotten her. I think I fell in love with her on that holiday but never saw her again.
