In 2017 when Janet was recovering from APML we made good use of the quiet calm of Maggie's talking with lovely staff in a totally supportive environment.
More recently we returned on a number of occasions to Maggie’s for a cup of coffee and a chat with staff. It is a place where we could be quiet and reflective in a turbulent world

I taught with Janet during my first post as a young teacher of MFL at King Edward V1 School, Morpeth. She was fun, kind, patient and a brilliant teacher. We stayed in touch and more recently met up a couple of times in Gosforth for a cuppa, catching up on old times and setting the world to rights. A truly lovely lady who must be very much missed. Sending love to all Janet's family. xxxx
